Paul Laidlaw – Senior Community Resilience Manager
I have over fifteen years’ experience applying a range of participation and community development expertise that has stimulated grassroots growth in communities across Scotland. I have a detailed understanding of participation, partnership working and promoting collaborative relationships between community organisations and government at all levels.
My background is in housing policy, practice, project management and research supporting communities to influence decisions at all levels. I have a wealth of skills and experience working with communities and statutory agencies building partnership activities into successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
I am enjoying working with the Scottish Flood Forum supporting and developing existing Community Groups to increase their resilience to flooding, working with partners to support communities at risk of flooding, and raising awareness and understanding of flood risk across Scotland.
