Community Resilience Manager
Salary circa £31,000 pa. depending upon experience.
We are recruiting for a Community Resilience Manager to join our Team to develop and deliver our community resilience work across Scotland. The post holder will be home based within mainland Scotland, with the ability to travel extensively throughout Scotland and to work flexible hours.
This person will be educated to degree level or equivalent, passionate about helping communities and individuals at risk of flooding and able to demonstrate a significant level of understanding of voluntary sector management and community engagement.
You should have experience of community engagement and working with community groups along with experience of working with local government and/or SEPA and have proven ability in project delivery, keeping several projects moving at once.
This is no ordinary 9-5 job. You will need to be an excellent communicator, able to work with organisations, communities, and individuals at all levels, sometimes supporting communities and individuals in stressful situations. But it’s also varied, with no one day the same as the next, working with interesting people, often in fascinating places.
