Kirsty MacRae – Director
As Director of the Scottish Flood Forum I am responsible for ensuring that we deliver what we have promised to do, both in our business plan and to our funders, and that our work is in line with our organisation’s vision and charitable objectives. I am responsible for ensuring clear communications across our team and with other organisations such as SEPA, Scottish Government and local authorities; and for developing the organisation by making sure we have the right staff in place and a sustainable funding base.
I have worked on flood risk management in Scotland for many years in my previous role as Programme Manager in Sniffer and prior to that spent 9 years working for a water company in Kent in a number of roles including Head of Environmental Regulation and Hydrogeologist. Much of my previous role included liaising with SEPA and Local Authorities and developing partnership projects through stakeholder engagement and events.
