The SFF hosts the Cabinet Secretary at launch of the Property Flood Resilience Action Plan
This morning we had the privilege of hosting the Cabinet Secretary, Rosanna Cunningham as she launched the Property Flood Resilience Action Plan and met members of the Property Flood Resilience Delivery Group. We look forward to working with this group to help deliver the action plan and raise awareness of the many forms of property flood resilience.
Philip Wright, chair of the SFF said:
“The Forum is the only Scottish charity focused on supporting people at flood risk. In our role, we see on a regular basis how important property flood resistance measures and flood resilient repairs are to making properties more able to withstand the impacts of flooding and to bringing a level of peace of mind to homeowners. I am therefore delighted that this Action Plan and the Delivery Group actively promote property flood resilience as a key component in increasing the resilience of Scotland’s properties.”
